The Kooga Brand was established in the UK
1997Guy and Lizzie McPhail founded Kooga NZ
2005Business and brand intellectual property rights acquired.
100% NZ privately owned and operated with exclusive rights in NZ, the pacific islands and Hawaii.
2019A brand founded on rugby heritage, the Kooga kit looked good and did what it was supposed to do – makes players feel great, be robust and deliver value.
Our next logical step was to use the innovation and development we created for rugby and offer this technology into equally hard-wearing garments across other sporting codes.
