Kooga Welcomes Hato Pāora College

Kooga is proud to announce a new three-year partnership with Hato Pāora College, the boarding school for Māori boys in Feilding, Manawatū. 

Founded by the Society of Mary in 1948, Hato Pāora has spent over 75 years growing good boys into great young men, guided by its vision Whāia te Tika – a journey in pursuit of personal excellence. The College’s dual special character of Māoritanga and Catholic faith runs through every part of school life, with sport playing a key role in building the confidence, character and leadership Hato Pāora is known for. 

Under this partnership, Kooga will supply custom-designed, performance ready sportswear across the College’s co-curricular sporting programme for the next three years. As part of the agreement, Kooga will work alongside Principal Kahurangi Falaoa to design a new rugby playing kit for the College, launching in 2027. 

The partnership is focused on growing Hato Pāora’s sports programme, with Kooga providing uniforms alongside funding support to enable that growth.
