Kooga - EPODS

Kooga NZ – EPODS were founded on the belief that every community deserves to be prepared for emergencies, no matter how remote or vulnerable. In the wake of natural disasters and other unexpected events, it’s essential to have a reliable source of shelter, food, and supplies. That’s why Kooga NZ has created a network of Emergency Resilience Containers, which are designed to provide a lifeline to those in need.

Recently, Kooga NZ placed 25 of these Resilience Containers in Wairoa, a province in the North Island in conjunction with Te Whare o Maire Taupawae Whanau Ora.  These pods are stocked with everything from first aid kits and blankets to food and water supplies, ensuring that residents have access to the essentials in the event of an emergency.

The Resilience Containers have already proved their worth in the recent Cyclone Gabrielle, they were strategically placed on marae and other remote rural locations. In the aftermath of the cyclone, many communities have been left without power or running water, making it difficult to access basic necessities. The Resilience Containers have provided some immediate comfort to the residents in the affected areas to access essential supplies.  These containers were able to provide critical support in the first few days of the cyclone, helping residents who are now starting the recovery process.

Now, Kooga NZ is expanding its reach, aiming to bring the same level of preparedness to communities across the country. With natural disasters becoming more frequent and severe, it’s essential to have a plan in place. The Resilience Containers offer a turnkey solution, providing peace of mind to residents and emergency responders alike.

Kooga NZ’s commitment to resilience goes beyond just providing supplies, however. The company has also established a strong network of partners and volunteers, working closely with local governments, emergency services, and other organizations to ensure that communities are as prepared as possible. With their deep expertise in disaster recovery and emergency planning, Kooga NZ is uniquely positioned to provide the support that communities need when disaster strikes.

So if you’re looking to be more prepared for emergencies, consider partnering with Kooga NZ. With their Resilience Containers and expert guidance, you can ensure that you’re ready for anything that comes your way. Whether you’re in a remote rural community on a Marae or just want your community to prepare, Kooga NZ is here to help you weather any storm.
